Commuters threading through Marquês de Pombal’s Blue–Yellow interchange face four months of intermittent access restrictions starting 26 January. Metro de Lisboa’s conservation campaign targets water infiltration, repair of damaged coverings, drainage cleaning, and painting of walls and ceilings across both lines’ platforms.
The station stays open throughout the works (no full closures are planned), but individual platform entrances will shut on an alternating basis during weekday round-the-clock shifts, with signage on site marking available routes. Expect disruption into late May.
